Emerging Markets PE Raised $21.5 Billion in 2007 September 26th, 2007

- According to the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association, a total of 107 private equity funds focused on investing in emerging markets, and raised $21.5 billion in capital commitments in the first half of 2007. - Vantrix Corporation, a provider of mobile multimedia adaptation and delivery solutions, has secured $12 million in Series B financing. - Trutap recently received $6.5 million in a follow-on Series A funding led by Tudor Group, bringing total financing to $13 million. - Xangati, a provider of rapid problem identification appliances, has closed its Series B funding round, bringing total funding to date to $18 million. - Prolog Ventures announced that Dan Broderick has joined the firm as its fourth partner. - Financial Technology Investment Conference will take place at DB's downtown New York conference center on October 25th.
