EGM Live* - 09/24/2007
Can you feel it? An irresistible force that's dominating the airwaves this week. No, we aren't talking Halo 3 (but we will!); we're talking Seanbaby. Our always-inappropriate guest pulls no punches as he joins the crew of EGM Live* to do the whole reader-mail thing. Topics include furries (seriously), broken DSes, and dating people over Xbox Live. There's no way you can be prepared for this. What you can be prepared for is Halo 3, as yes, we do a breakdown of the game we've been playing all weekend so you can know what to expect when you jump on this week. We also have a new question of the week, because we care that much.
EGM Live* - 09/17/2007
The EGM Live* crew gets down to business this week. First off, we have a discussion about the Adults Only rating, and what has happened, and what was cut, to make Rockstar's Manhunt 2 a Mature-rated title. Then Donahoe and Ford have a sit-down with Shane to talk about something very important: whether Streets of Rage or its sequel is better. The answer should be obvious to all. The Review Crew also does its thing, looking at the week's big releases, including Eternal Sonata, MySims, and Sonic Rush Adventure. All that, plus a new Question of the Week and winner.
EGM Live* - 09/10/2007
We follow up our October cover story on Silent Hill 5 with an interview with the developers. Konami's William Ortel and the Collective's Jason Allen join us to offer their insight into the upcoming horror game. Crispin and Seanbaby grill videogame referee Walter Day on the events in The King of Kong, the new documentary about competitive classic gaming. The Review Crew tackles the week's big releases, including dueling hockey games, Skate, and Heavenly Sword. Finally, we reveal the answer to last week's Question of the Week and introduce a new contest for you, our loyal listeners!
EGM Live* - 09/03/2007
Things get a little hairy on EGM Live* this week. With the imminent release of Lair, we talk to Julian Eggebrecht of Lair developer Factor 5 about a few of the problems we had with the game, and he tells us why we may be wrong. Then we have Shane in a room with three ladies, as he and Jennifer try to crack a couple alpha moms into admitting they're destroying our industry. Or not. We also talk some new releases, including Stranglehold and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. Finally, we have a new question of the week. The mind staggers thinking about it.
EGM Live* - 08/27/2007
This week, it's the ultimate get as former 1UP superstar Luke Smith takes a moment out of his busy schedule at Bungie to talk to EGM Live* about Halo 3. Brian "Sketch" Jarrard joins us, too, to tell us more details about new weapons, additional info about Forge, and behind-the-scenes tidbits about life at Bungie. We also answer some reader mail about BioShock. The review crew tackles the week's big releases, including Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. And we explore the annals of arcade history in a stupendously multimedia Question of the Week.
