Michael Coats roots are firmly planted in rock and roll and radio. He became involved with the San Francisco music scene in 1977 when he went to work for music entrepreneur Jeffrey Pollack at his nightclub, the Old Waldorf. It was there that he met some of his favorite DJs from San Francisco's renowned underground radio station KSAN. Hanging out with them at the station, he learned everything he could while getting an insider's view of the workings of a radio station. Michael Coats' radio show delivers good rock and roll, and lots of it. Between sets, Michael and a cast of regular guests banter back and forth on a variety of local topics and issues. It's edgy, it's fun, and it's always entertaining.
