On this edition of Jeff and Aaron's DVD Extravaganza, we continue with part 3 of our look at the Golden Age of Saturday Morning Cartoons with one of the most popular live action kids programs from the mid 70's. "Land of the Lost" created by producers Sid and Marty Kroff was a favorite of kids everywhere during the 1970's . "Land of the Lost" was so popular, in fact, that it easily beat out cartoons in the same time slots on the other networks and led to an increase in number of live action programs for kids from 1975-1978. On this podcast, Jeff talks about what made "Land of the Lost" such a huge hit not only for the kids but adults as well. " Land of the Lost" was one of the longest running kids programs during the Golden Age of Saturday Morning Cartoons. The show ran from 1974-1976, a total of three seasons on the NBC television network. As always you can send, your questions, comments, and suggestions to DVD360@mac.com. Not one of Keanu Reeves more notable films, this movie stars legendary film actor Gene Hackman as a football coach who hires a misfit group of replacement football players when the leagues professional players go on strike over a salary dispute. Keanu Reeves plays ex college quarterback Shane Falco who missed his chance at the pros after a humilating defeat at the Sugar Bowl. Given a second chance, Falco leads this misfits group of players for the Washington Sentinels to victory in the remaining games of the football season.
