Filmed in late 2006, while watching Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient truth” Jack Guest was inspired to create the positive response called “A Convenient Truth” Jack invested his entire savings and took a film crew to Sweden (by boat), a country aiming to break its dependency on oil by 2020. There, he meets a range of people from politicians to scientists, families, entrepreneurs and green activists. Discussing with all of them the solutions that they have found, and are living, to reduce their carbon footprint and combat global warming. The film has a light-hearted theme, with a serious, yet positive message that change does not necessarily mean sacrifice. The film is in its final stages of being edited, with the premiere planned for October 2007 at the Eden Project.
