GGP-002 Elethay Bedtime Stories

Todays podcast is a set of Bedtime Stories that those who grew up in an Elethay household would have heard as a youth. These are the types of stories that would have helped create a characters attitude towards the world of Grandilar.
Some years ago I had read some old Dakota stories and they had not made a lost of sense to me at the time. Recently I had a chance to hear the same stories spoken. I realized as I listened that they made perfect sense. Those stories were intended to be heard by an audience. That made me think about our fantasy role-playing worlds. Our characters would have grown up in a spoken world, reading would be for the elite and the historians, life would have been heard.
That makes me look at the tools we have for role-playing and to want to use these podcasts to enhance the feeling of the worlds our characters inhabit. For now, have a good time gaming and enjoy the podcast. If you have any questions or suggestions, drop me an e-mail.
Grandilar Fantasy Game 001

This is the first Grandilar Game Podcast. The prior game podcast for Dragon Storm, the Dragon Storm Podcast has gone into hiatus. In this episode we will take a look at the Line-of-Sight rules for Dragon Storm. These same ideas can be used in many role-playing games. We also have a Grandilar News section warning Valarians about Nytoc Versai, a particularly nasty assassin. Enjoy the podcast and feel free to comment. We are going to try to do the Grandilar Game Podcast three times a month as long as we can find reasonable material to present.
