Diagnosis: Podfading
Several months ago, we extolled the fact that we weren’t subject to the syndrome of podfading. And we proudly celebrated a little bit when we made it past the 12-16 show benchmark where most podcasts tend to implode and fade away.
But, inevitably, the busy-ness of daily life, family, work and travel have caught up with us and made the little show we like to call lockjaw radio increasingly harder to produce.
We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to interact with (and editorialize) some of the great minds, innovative thinkers, groundbreaking entrepreneurs, marketing geniuses and web pioneers of the social networking revolution.
We’ve been amazed at the courtesy and support of our fellow podcasters, bloggers and social commentators, who helped us make our shows more interesting, more informative, more entertaining, more personable.
We’re thankful to our sponsors for their belief and their generosity, and we give them props for taking a risk and being early adopters of podcasting as a viable marketing channel.
But most of all, we’re thankful for the 800 – 1000 regular listeners who not only consumed over 28 cumulative hours of our verbal gumbo, but passed on our shows to friends and family and checked in with us regularly to let us know they were indeed, out there listening.
We hope we’ll be back soon. It’s been fun and we will miss it, but life has its priorities. Keep checking back – maybe lockjaw radio will be back when you least expect it.
Thanks again— Thomas and Jose

Looking for Dose #26? We’re sorry, but you may have to wait a little longer. We do apologize, but Jose and I are both on the road for the next two weeks. There’s a lot of cool stuff going on…
Jose is currently wrapping up a week in New York at the Streaming Media East Conference where he is doing daily dispatches on his blog at thinkjose.
He’s got some great posts and photos on the conference, which runs through May 24th, so be sure to check out his thoughts.
Oh yeah, you may notice that Jose’s blog has undergone a facelift – nice job, buddy…
I, on the other hand, am traveling on business this week, and then on vacation next week (May 29 – June 2). Hey, gotta have priorities, right?
Anyway, thanks to all of you who have listened to all 25 of our shows, and we’ll be back on line soon.
